Coach Greg was a prominent figure at George Washington University where he served as Head Coach for the men's tennis team for 10 years. Under his leadership, the team had achieved significant success, including multiple NCAA Division 1 ranked players, 5 A10 Conference Championships, & 5 NCAA appearances.
His tenure has been marked by a strong emphasis on both academic and athletic achievements among his players. His men's team achieved the highest gpa year after year of all 27 sports teams at GWU.
Coach Greg achieved many accolades while at GW. University Coach of the Year, an award given only once in GW History, Multiple A10 Coach of the Year awards, USTA Mid-Atlantic College Coach of the Year, Voted Washingtonian magazine Best Tennis Coach in the Mid-Atlantic. He also achieved USTA Mid-Atlantic Tennis Center of the Year award for the GW Tennis Center.
As a player, Greg was a standout at Binghamton University achieving an NCAA ranking of 21 in the nation in singles and 14 in doubles, with wins over #1 doubles team, #6 singles player in the nation.
He played in qualifiers of an ATP 250 event Legg Mason and multiple ATP Challengers in Doubles with long time doubles partner Greg Schwartz. But his focus was laways on coaching, which he has now done for the past 32 years.
